I'm as was once said "a day late and a dollar short" but even so must call attention to Fat Bear Week which started yesterday October 4 and goes through October 10.

It's fun and throughout you wish all of the bears well for their accumulated fat will keep them through a long winter's sleep. However this is a contest - a new bracket each day - and there are winners and losers along the way and ultimately a winner. The winner is selected by viewers some of whom have been watching these bears carefully throughout the fishing season; others may be visiting the site for the first time.
